Wife is not a four letter word.

In this culture four letter words are often the words you are not to use in polite company.  They typically represent the words you would get your mouth washed out with soap for using.  For a while now the word "wife" has been taking on this feel.  It seems some women are embarrassed to admit they are happy wives that stay at home, or that they are in a marriage where Godly leadership is sought after and embraced.  they do not always have to be the strongest, the fastest, the wisest or the most secure.  It's alright to show some venerability. With that in mind I am stating to blog about the modern wife.  Share your thoughts with me on the subject.

  1. I agree with you. People hear wife and associate it with a lesser person. It's like you have some sickness they do not want. I must admit over the few years I have been married I have pulled away from my wife roll out of either fear or anger or just not wanting to be looked at as a lesser person. It has taken me almost 5 years to begin to open that door to my heart back up and begin to take that journey back to the wife I know I can be.
